Our firm was established by Horst Bräutigam in 1960 who was joined by Heino Fahs in 1969 whereupon the office moved to Bleibtreustrasse in Berlin-Charlottenburg. From 1978, the firm was based at Tauentzienstrasse and quickly became established as one of the leading law firms in Berlin, notably in the fields of commercial and administrative law.
By the addition of
the firm strengthened and expanded its competence. Due to their age, Heino Fahs (deceased in 2001) and Horst Bräutigam retired in 2000 and 2002, respectively. Horst Bräutigam continues to work for the firm as consultant. In 1990, the firm moved to its present offices at Uhlandstrasse in Berlin-Charlottenburg. Since 1989 the firm was also dedicated to German law with respect to unification and maintained a branch office in Potsdam from 1996 to 2001. In the ensuing period, the firm continued to expand and develop its fields of work, always in the interest of its clients. Today we focus on commercial law and public law.
The firm has been known under the short name BDKD since 2006.
